About B&A
Barron & Associates, P.C. (B&A) is an engineering consulting and testing firm specializing in geotechnical studies and providing design recommendations. B&A’s predecessor, James S. Barron, P.E. Consulting Engineers, P.C. was originally formed by Mr. Barron in 1988.
In response to the steady increase in requests from clients, the professional staff has been augmented with the addition of engineers, geologists, hydro-geologists, scientists and technical staff experienced in subsurface studies, project management, environmental regulations, permitting and material testing. With the expansion of the professional staff and the acquisition of professional liability insurance, the firm changed its name to Barron & Associates, P.C. in 1996.
Located on the second floor of the Tramont Building at 10440 Main Street (NYS Route 5) in Clarence, New York, B&A’s senior personnel have between 10 to 30 years experience each in their representative fields of expertise.
To compliment the senior staff, staff level geologists and technicians are available to undertake material characterization and site inspection services. In 2004, a separate facility was constructed at 12340 Main Street (NYS Route 5) in Akron, New York to house the laboratory and provide additional office space.
